SimplyTalk requires Windows 11, approximately 1 GB of disk space, and a working microphone. No GPU is required; the AI model runs on your CPU. A discrete NVIDIA GPU improves performance with the higher-tier engines.
No. Speech recognition happens entirely on your computer. There is no account, no activation, and no server check. SimplyTalk works completely offline from the moment it is installed.
Custom hotkey rebinding is coming in a future update. Currently, the default hotkey is Ctrl+Shift. You can modify the config.json file manually if needed.

Make sure your target application has focus and your cursor is in a text field before releasing the hotkey. Some applications with elevated permissions may require running SimplyTalk as administrator.
SimplyTalk is currently Windows 11 only. Mac support may be added in a future release.
Open Windows Settings, go to Apps, find SimplyTalk, and click Uninstall. No residual files are left behind.
